The Council Secretariat is the executive office of the CNC charged with ensuring the lawfulness of the Council's proceedings and resolutions, and with providing legal advice to the different offices of the CNC. The Council Secretary supports the President and the members of the CNC Council in handling cases and in managing their functions, as well as preparing the Council meetings. The Secretary participates in Council meetings but does not vote.
