Ever since its creation, the Comisión Nacional de la Competencia (CNC) has been committed to the utmost informational transparency and disclosure in response, not only to the legal order contained in Act 15/2007, but to the certainty that raising broad awareness of competition issues is in itself a good instrument for preventing antitrust practices.

It must be recalled, nevertheless, that the Act imposes certain safeguards in relation to the confidentiality that must be maintained for the cases handled by the CNC, in order not to harm the interests of the companies and individuals involved.
